Who are we?
We are a young and growing International Early Childhood Centre. Our school of early childhood provides care and education for children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years old. We treat our space as a true children’s den where children get to make decisions and take the lead in running the centre. At Curious Kind children are encouraged to explore and deeply engage in play at their own interests.
We are situated on a quiet residential street right in the heart of downtown Bangkok – Sukhumvit soi 38, minutes away from Thonglor BTS station and local neighbourhood cafes and shops.
Our Vision
At Curious Kind, we believe that it is the right of all children to be respected, listened to and feel valued. We share the same view as Loris Malaguzzi, who founded the Reggio Emilia early childhood schools, that even when they are not speaking children use at least 100 languages to express themselves. Therefore, we trust that by giving children freedom to think and explore will help them have the best possible start to their education. Our inspiration stems a lot from the desire to approach early childhood education through research and shared learning.
At Curious Kind we devote our time and efforts to supporting all children to explore the world and expand their potentials. Our role, we believe, is to listen to the children, take in their opinions seriously, and trust in their competency by giving them the freedom to play and construct their own learning.
